Red Cross CNA Class
Certified Nursing is quite an attractive career option with certified nurses earning more than 45k per year. Joining the Red Cross CNA class is one of the fastest paths to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Joining the Red Cross CNA class will enable you to get a CNA degree recognised in the entire USA.
One of the pre-requisites of joining the red cross cna training class is to have undergone at least 6 to 12 weeks course which may be quite hands on. This makes you realize the skills that are required for the final job and hence quite helpful to you professionally.
Following are the requirements of Red Cross CNA Class:
- At least 18 years of age
- No felony convictions within 7 years
- no communicable disease
- Cannot be pregnant
The Red Cross CNA class training is available in several states. Even though the course follows a nationally-recognized Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum, it uses the requirements of each state. As a consequence the course hours in different states of the country may be quite different.
Successful course completion in the Red Cross CNA Class requires full participation in classroom and skill sessions. However only that is not enough and the participants need to perform well in skill and knowledge evaluations.
You need to adhere to the following guidelines while enrolled in the red cross cna programme:
- Be punctual.
- You can miss maximum of 6 hours. Unlike other courses you need to make up all missed hours
- Need to score of 80% or higher in the final test.
The examination has two parts:
- the Skills Test and
- the Written Test.
The entire exam is completed in approximately 5 1/2 hours. The test results are declared on the same day. The Red Cross CNA class helps nursing assistants to become nurses.
